Born and raised in the OC, I was fortunate enough to find the love of the arts early in my life. I learned to throw clay at age 12 and I haven’t stopped yet.
Our family owned and operated business, Blue Canoe scenery and props, is where my older brother inspired me everyday. One of my brothers clients was The Disneyland Corporation.
My brother directed, trusted, and taught me about his “no rules” way of designing. The knowledge he imparted on me was priceless. I worked for the Art Resource Group of Orange County. I was trained to induct museum quality installations. I was also trained to install corporate art exhibits throughout Orange County.
While attending the Art Institute, I trained under Marlo Bartels. I worked with him on many installations including the famous chess table on the Laguna Beach boardwalk. My curiosity grew and I found myself working with new and upcoming designers like Shabby Chic Couture’s Rachel Ashwell. Rachel and I worked on many projects including the decor and installations for Jennifer Lopez’s restaurant Madre’s.
I transported antiques across the country. I’ve worked with the top designers and decorators all over the United States.
Today, I work with my wife, Genevieve, doing what we love. We run a successful Estate Sale business in California. We’ve been together for four years. We both have a deep love for art and fine furniture. We complement each other in every way.
We live in Huntington Beach and have a beautiful blended family. We are grateful.
